Earlier today I was talking to my buddy, and fellow teammate M.B. He has a goal set ahead of him to crank out 10,000 push ups in 31 days. If acomplished, this skinny guy will become ripped and become possibly, a scary looking guy...anyways he tells me that he's starting a training blog to become more accountable for the goals he sets for himself. This seemed like a good way to stay motivated, but I'm no computer guy, and have never done a blog before, so I wasn't to sure on what to do. But here I am...
As of Monday 28 of December I have been stretching 30 minutes in the morning when I wake up, before breakfast, and before the sun. Even though it's only 30 minutes, I've noticed a significant increase in flexability. The first day I did the splits I was at 70 inches and only 6 days later I've improved to 72.5 inches! My goal is to get all the way in the splits before auditions for Ninja Warrior start in August. Sometime in AUgust my girlfriend and I are taking a trip to San Francisco to visit her aunt. During the stay I want to drive down to L.A. and audition for the ninja warrior competition. From now until then, that is going to be what I am training for, I have no expectations for the auditions, but I'm going to train as hard as possible, so I know I can do my best.
Training starting 1/2/2010 will consist of:
1. 30 minutes of stretching
2. 100 pull ups daily
3. Running 3x a week
